The process took me about two or three days, and I'm happy with the results. It seems that I'm regaining progress again.The finished piece was a result of some feedback on a Livestream hosted by WIPpodcast (http://jeffreyhimmelman.com/wip/), the speed painting had a lot of anatomy issues, and cleaning up to do.
Somebody mentioned that the process itself seemed like it was more photoshop than painting (I acutally use GIMP). I do use layer blending modes to paint, maybe it's time to cut on layers, and use those custom brushes that I always make.
